AD2 Bed Type
o New element to designate bed type (e.g. respite, speciality unit)
o 3 character text field
o Content to be defined by the facilities at this time
o Required on submission, but may be blank

AD3 Unit - MIS Functional Centre Account Code
o New element to record MIS functional centre
o Dropdown field, will use standard MIS codes
o May be related to bed type field in future
o Required on submission, but may be blank

New Record Type: Update Record
o Will contain the URI, the new value for the data element, and the effective date of the new value

New Record Type: Special Project Record
o Similar to DAD
o Used to pilot data elements, validation of new interRAI scales, tracking ALC data in Ontario, etc…
o Facilities can contact CIHI to set up a project code for a facility-based project
